Never knew about Dell Display and Peripheral Manager [DDPM] before today but it is coming in so handy. Dell only supports Windows OS though. On the Mac OS side I got BetterDisplay Pro working and taking up the slack for Dell.

For context I am using both PC and MAC with one Dell G3223Q display connecting directly to both computers. I didn’t want to use a HDMI KVM switch between the video signal of the GPU and monitor so I just got a USB KVM for the wired keyboard and mouse.

For the longest time I have been reaching back behind the monitor to change the input. Today that ends…now I can use a custom keyboard shortcut on both Mac and Windows to just seamlessly switch inputs on the Dell Monitor.

Feels Amazing and it’s all possible because of built in DDC/CI in the monitor. Love it.
